YOU HELP OLDER ADULTS THRIVE

Retirement for Duane and his wife was a quiet routine, supported by Social Security and a pension from the electric union. That changed when their two young grandchildren, ages 5 and 7, came to live with them. Suddenly, their peaceful home was filled with the energy and joy of small children!

Adding two children to their household also brought new challenges. Stretching a fixed income to meet the needs of growing kids is not easy. “It’s amazing how much food you go through when you’ve got little ones,” Duane shares.

Thanks to your generosity, Duane and his wife receive a food box from the Amen Food Pantry, supplied by the Great Plains Food Bank. This food allows them to focus on what truly matters: keeping their family together and creating happy memories.

Despite the financial difficulties, their home is full of love, and the couple is proud to be raising their grandkids. “We are happy-go-lucky; we joke around and play around. Even sometimes wrestling and just having fun,” Duane says with a smile.

  • How Do We Secure Information Transmissions? All information transmitted through our website, giving pages, and forms are sent via secure, encrypted server. Other emails you send to us may not be secure; for that reason, we ask that you do not send confidential information such as Social Security, credit card, or account numbers to us through an unsecured email.

DONATION REFUND POLICY

We are grateful for your donation and support of our organization. If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to our organization please contact us. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.

AUTOMATED RECURRING DONATION CANCELLATION

Ongoing support is important to enabling projects to continue their work, so we encourage donors to continue to contribute to projects over time. But if you must cancel your recurring donation, please notify us.
