We're Here to Help
The Great Plains Food Bank is here to support all neighbors affected by the government shutdown. The federal government is now reopened, but for too many of our neighbors the ripple effects continue. If you or your family are struggling to access food during this time, please know that help is available.
Whether you’re looking for ways to help or need help yourself, we’re here for you. Great Plains Food Bank and our network of partner pantries are committed to making sure no one goes hungry. Click “Find a Food Pantry” to search our interactive map or view our list of local food pantries across North Dakota and Clay County, MN.
If you’re in a position to give, your donation will ensure that families, children and seniors don’t have to worry about where their next meal will come from. Thank you for coming alongside us in our mission to end hunger, together.
Mobile Food Pantries and Pop-up Distributions
In addition to our partner food pantries, we host mobile food pantries, pop-up pantry distributions, and cultural food pop-ups providing additional food assistance across the North Dakota and Clay County, MN. These distributions provide free produce, shelf-stable items, and essential groceries to anyone in need.
SUPPORT OUR MISSION
During times of uncertainty, more families turn to local food pantries and meal programs for help — and the recent government shutdown was no exception. Even though the government has reopened, many households continue to feel the effects. That’s why the Great Plains Food Bank and our statewide network of partners remain committed to supporting anyone facing hardship during this recovery period.
Your support continues to be essential in helping neighbors get the food they need to thrive.
